Joystick Bicycle Components made the parts you hold, stand on and sit on: handlebars, stems, pedals, saddles, grips and bar tape. Designed by riders in British Columbia from 2012.
Joystick started with riders who had spent decades designing and marketing products for other bike companies. The vendors we trusted wanted us to build our own brand, so we did.
The name says what we make. A joystick is the controller in your hands, and our parts sit at every point where you control the bike. We pulled ideas from action-sports culture and the precision of motorsport, then tested everything with the riders and trail builders who use it hardest.
Model names come from the controller: Analog, Binary, 8-Bit and Emulator. Builder is named for the trail crews. Most families came in standard, LT (lighter) and carbon tiers.
Carbon bars molded in Joystick's own custom molds, and alloy bars in our 8-Bit and 8-Bit LT blends.
Built for Red Bull Rampage loads, with a wide bar interface that is safe for carbon and our controlled clamping system.

CNC-machined direct-mount DH stem for triple-clamp forks. Two length settings, no extra hardware.

Increased clamping surface for a stronger, more precise hold. Raced by Loïc Bruni and Finn Iles.

Zero-gap direct-mount stem in three lengths, including a 50/45mm adjustable version.
Concave flat pedals on 4140 CrMo 9/16" axles. The Emulator was engineered in-house.

Fully CNC-machined platform on a high-load DU bushing and cartridge bearing.

The Emulator shape in a composite body, at an optimized thin profile.

The original alloy Emulator, with its open window platform and a full axle sleeve.

A super concave, grippy platform in a durable package that is easy to service.

The Builder platform in a tough composite body for riders who want a lighter, lower-cost pedal.
Every model has a pressure-relief cut-out in the base. Tiers: CrMo rails, LT with hollow titanium rails, and carbon.

Built for enduro racing, with a compact low-profile nose. Anne-Caroline Chausson raced the Binary LT on the EWS.

The all-rounder: a long, low shape for climbs, commutes and cornering on singletrack.

A long, flat shape that makes it easy to move forward on climbs, with titanium rails to save weight.

Carbon rails and base with our lightest padding, for no-compromise race builds.

A no-nonsense saddle that can go full enduro one day and downhill the next. The LT adds titanium rails.

A minimal shape with a wide platform and grabbable contours, designed with our slopestyle athletes.
Grips that are safe on carbon and alloy bars, made from a compound that is durable but tacky.

Dual lock-on grips with narrow clamps that keep metal contact on the bar to a minimum.

An ergonomic inner section and an outer knurl and waffle pattern for extra control.

A compliant, multi-directional ribbed pattern for comfort and control.

Lightweight, vibration-damping tape that lasts. Raced on the World Tour by Team Dimension Data in 2018.
This is a record of the riders, teams and builders who rode Joystick in the years shown. None of them are current Joystick athletes.

An exclusive license with a major North American distributor takes Joystick to dealers throughout the Americas.
The license winds down and the brand is ready for its next chapter.

The Joystick brand is available for acquisition or licensing by category and region. A partner gets a proven name with years of team and race history and a ready-made product range.
